Caleb and Bobby Gene never imagined what their summer would be like when Styx Malone came to town. Styx was older and had all sorts of crazy plans including how to take a bag of potentially stolen fireworks and through a series of trades end up with a moped. But their mom is a bit worried about Styx's influence on the boys. Will their friendship survive the consequences of their actions?
I loved the adventure the boys had and what they learned as a result. This had more heart than I thought it would.
