This is one of those books that is okay for what it is but it isn't overly wowing me. On the positive side we have a Korean main character and a focus on Korean culture. On the negative side it is pretty basic middle grade fair - 2 best friends who are drifting apart, trying to maybe fit in with the popular group. I think this is a good choice for diversity sake especially if the book budget is pretty healthy. I do feel that the cover makes it look a bit younger than it could be considering the age of the characters.
