Evie is a healer and Wormy is her best friend and patient. One day he gets a bit ahead of himself and decides to propose. A fairy, Lucinda, loves such occasions and pops in to watch. When Evie turns Wormy down (they are far too young), Lucinda turns Evie into an ogre and tells her she has 62 days to get someone else to propose to her or she will an ogre forever. What can Evie do? Could someone ever love her as an ogre?
This was a fun fantasy with some humor, intrigue, and a bit of romance. I enjoyed it.
