Marcus is a big boy and has big responsibilities. He takes care of his brother who has Down Syndrome, protects kids who are bullied, makes dinner when mom is late. But his size can also be intimidating. When he hits a bully for teasing his brother, Marcus' mom thinks it's time for them to regroup by going to Puerto Rico to see family and friends. Marcus knows that's where his dad is and pins all his hopes on finding and bonding with his dad. But why hasn't his dad been in touch the last 10 years anyway?
The book is really about Marcus coming to terms with his family. It was a pretty good book.
