Ever since the death of her sister 3 years ago Amelia has been floundering. Everyone, including her best friend Taylor, tries to help but she feels lost. When her eighth grade teacher mistakenly gives her a letter her sister wrote Amelia decides to try and do all the things in the letter that her sister never could - ask a boy to a dance, play softball, throw a party. Along the way she learns who her friends really are, more about being herself, and how to move on.
This was surprisingly good - more than just a fluff piece.
