Okay - really publishers? Our MSBA shortlist meeting is Saturday, all reviews are supposed to be submitted tomorrow morning by 10:00 AM and I get 3 books today - 2 of which haven't been read by anyone??? I had this book on my list of books to read for a long time and couldn't get ahold of it and couldn't afford to buy it right now so yeah...I read it tonight. And - while I often complain about length this 355 pg book went quickly and I thought it was great.
It was a bit book geeky, good family conflict, decent mystery - which yes, I figured out early on but hey for 5th and 6th grade girls especially I think this is a good fit. Like it a lot.
