Mark and Scott Kelly get into trouble a lot. In an effort to stop their fighting and give them something to do their grandfather encorages them to build something. They decide on a rocket. With the helpof a new neighbor girl and so other kids from their school and their grandfather's neighborhood they decide to built a "replica" of a rocket. While everyone thinks it is just a model for a science fair entry they really want to launch it.
With a lot of science and suspended belief this was a fun story that just may encourage students to get interested in physics, space exploration, or building things. I was a little bothered by how unrealistic the actual launch was but.... the kids will probably like it.
