Exclamation Mark by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld

Exclamation Mark really stands out.  He doesn’t seem to fit in with everyone else.  Then one day he meets another strange mark who asks him a ton of questions.  Frustrated, Exclamation Mark finally yells, “Stop”.  He then realizes the power he has and is very happy.  This is a great little story not only about ending punctuation but about discovering who you really are.

I love this book!  It is so clever and funny with a great message beside.  I bought it for both of my libraries and my older kids (grades 4 and 5) enjoy it as much as the younger students.
