Lavender wants to be a princess and marry a handsome prince. So she reads all the fairy tales, wears her hat, and sings. Eliza is the practical one, the hard worker. When Lavender is kidnapped by the evil Mordmont, Eliza goes to her rescue. Can Eliza, with the help of Gertrude the goat and Bonnet, save Lavender?
This has been described as a cross between fairy tales and Roald Dahl. I guess I can see that but it was just meh for me. I didn't feel like the villian was villianous enough and while there were parts that were clever and cute - overall it just didn't work for me.
