The Borden Murders
Of course I had heard of the Borden murders but I really didn't know much about them. This book thoroughly describes the events leading up to the murders, the investigation, the trial, and the aftermath. The book was well researched and I felt pretty straightforward. I felt the author leaned more towards Lizzie's innocence but gave a pretty fair balance of events. In the end the murder is still mystery.
The big question is whether this should be in my library. I felt the gruesomeness of the murder and the amount of legal vocabulary make this a better fit for the junior high or higher and not my particular library. Good read though, I learned a lot.
