Annabel was murdered. The popular, vivacious teen was found at the tennis club. Who could have done it? Evie, the chubby girl everyone ignores and Chelsea, her damaged friend set out to discover the truth. Told in alternating chapters of before and after we learn of events leading up to the murder and the aftermath of the investigation. We also learn about Evie's transformation and Chelsea unwavering loyalty. Oh, there is also a major plot twist that I probably wouldn't have seen coming if I hadn't had a spoiler. Good mystery, good friendship.
