This was quite a short book so for that I was grateful and appreciated it. But....it was also short and not a lot of development. It was very plot driven - lion bites arm, boy wants revenge, but in the end learns to study and appreciate the lion and protect his people.
I actually wanted to like this more than I did. It seems like I have read the same information in a variety of books lately and the presentation (purple font) didn't do it for me. That being said kids will probably check it out.
