I have read a lot of Holocaust stories. At times it is hard to know at what age children should first be exposed to what the Holocaust was. I certainly believe it should be taught and I have worked with students even in 4th and 5th grades. This graphic novel is a god introduction to the Holocaust in a format that many students enjoy. It has enough details for an introduction but is not too overwhelming for young students. I felt that it was a bit confusing at the end but with a teacher or librarian to guide a student it would be okay.
