2 for today...

CeCe lost her hearing when she was 4 years old.  This graphic novel tells about her experiences in school as she and her friends adjust to the ups and downs of hearing aids, sign language, reading lips, and friendship in general.  This was a good look into one girl's experiences and because it is in a graphic novel format kids will eat it up.  I enjoyed this.

Dave Davidson works on curing the fears of his friends in this humorous book.  I don't usually laugh out loud while reading a book but I did in this one.  I thought this book was quite cute and actually had a good message about fear.  This is a keeper.
