I started reading this book a couple weeks ago but then time, other books, and homework got in the way. I appreciated the poems that started each chapter and I figured out very early on how the poems were going to fit in with Greg's City Math project. But, it took a long time for Greg to figure it out. I felt that the book was too long. I enjoyed the last 60 pages a lot. When things really started to ramp up - Greg figured out what he was going to do, he told his parents the truth, and he and his dad came to an understanding. I enjoyed the book for sure...I just think it could have been tighter.
