The Dog, Ray
Daisy has just died. Shortly after her death her soul comes back as a dog. At first, Daisy (Ray)can remember her former life and she even tries to be reunited with her mother and now paralyzed father. As time passes and her life as a dog becomes more complicated - time in a pound, homeless with Pip, finding Pip's father - she becomes more Ray and less Daisy.
This was truly an interesting concept. A few things... did the dog like or not like the dog biscuits. It seemed mostly she didn't but one time it seemed she did. The book has several Brisitsh sayings, vocab which will be unfamiliar to my students. One instance of swearing...
Overall I liked...
