The Screech Owls hockey team are in Boston for a tournament. Along the way they also stumble across an animal rights protest group that takes matters to the extreme.
I had really hoped to like this more than I did. With the local connection I felt that my students might relate to the Boston location and the aquarium and other sites. Unfortunately the hockey parts seemed disjointed with the rest of the book. I also had a hard time with the characters. Was it about Nish mainly and his decision to drop out of school? Travis? Sarah? Samantha? It just seemed all over the place to me. I did like the ending but overall it didn't work for me.
