'Wonderful poetic narrative about Clara Lemlich and the shirtwaist factory strike and uprising in the early 1900s. There was some beautiful writing in here as Clara struggled with her personal dreams,her upbringing, and her sense of justice. While I was captivated as I was reading I felt the book ended abruptly and didn't tell us the rest and certianly didn't include or tie in with the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire shortly after this story occurs. I was left needingmore of Clara.
