This book was about Albert who is just entering middle school. His best friend has moved to NY and he is left by himself and to top it all off he starts getting teased because he is so short. After seeing some stilt walkers and discovering that his bus driver is one of them he joins a group of high school students learning how to be stilt walkers themselves. As they prepare for a Boxing Day event Albert gains self confidence. This was a nice story.
This was quite the creative graphic novel. While I personally didn't like it all that much - not a fan of graphic novels in general - I know that my students will love it ;0
