Maggie's dad is sick. He has Multiple Sclerosis but at age 11 Maggie is wanting a perfect birthday, she wants to win the science fair, she wants good grades - she doesn't want her dad to be sick with a disease that has no cure.
Maggie is a great little character and it is interesting viewing the family's journey through her eyes. Good family dynamics and humor. I liked this one...
