This is a beautiful book of poetry. What else would you expect from Joyce Sidman? I especially like the winter aspect and connections to the northeast.
The Scientists in the Field series is pretty cool. For students who are interested in science careers these books may be just the thing. I would love to see teachers using these books in science classes.
