I am still mulling over what I think of this. It is totally implausible. 4 siblings with a mixture of mothers and fathers who live on the beach in a car. The oldest girl drives the car around and every once in a while one of the two mothers drops off money for food. They go to school.... and no one questions this???? I know - it's a children's book. Go with it. The family has several adventures including finding an abandoned house to live in, getting a goldfish, and getting a new baby sister. At the end it looks like things will be changing for them and then the book ends. Set up for a sequel??? It had it's cute moments and the kids probably won't mind the ridiculousness as much as I did.
