Who doesn't want to know the history of the john, loo, toilet, privy, outhouses, and sanitation? Well...maybe not everyone is fascinated with the subject. I did find it interesting....especially in light of the relative newness of good sanitation and the amount of people worldwide who still do not have access to proper facilities. I have done some traveling and I could tell tales. But I digress...interesting book but I am not sure of the appeal. I do have some other books on the topic in my library and they get the funny checkout sometimes ;0
