Charlie is a big fan of football and is great at keeping stats, picking winners for his fantasy leagues, and rooting for his team - even though the Bulldogs and definitely underdogs. When Charlie makes some suggestions to the Bulldog's owner (grandfather of his best friend Anna) every one is surprised first that his advice is taken and then, that he actually knew what he was talking about. Can Charlie handle the spotlight without getting a big head and losing his best friend? Can the Bulldogs actually come out on top?
This was a great story. if it was only about football I may have gotten bogged down. But it was much more than that... hope, trust, family, friendship, and second chances. I really enjoyed it.
