The School the Aztec Eagles Built
This was a really cool account of the Aztec Eagles, a Mexican unit that fought with American forces during WWII - which in itself was unknown to me. As for the school, when the troops were about to leave Mexico, Sergeant Angel Bocanegra, a teacher asked the President of Mexico if he would build a school in his town while they were gone. The President of Mexico agreed. Truly the account was more about the Aztec Eagles - their training and time in combat but the school was built because Bocanegra asked.
I read this as an ebook and unfortunately the formating wa sa bit messed up. I would love to see a physical copy.
