Childhood Regained
This collection of short stories is about child workers in Asia. The book covers children working in carpet factories, fields, fireworks factories and more. In all the instances in the book the children are rescued by outside agencies or by their own ingenuity. Unfortunately we know this is not always the case. Sexual trafficking is implied several times and one story focuses on a girl but it is not overt in any way. I think this is a good book for middle school and high school to bring awareness to the situation worldwide.
