The Fault in our Stars for a slightly younger audience. Oh the sadness, I finished the audio book right before I got to work.
Ben Coffin has finally found a home after a lifetime of foster care. His adopted mom is wonderful. When a dog follows him home, she lets him keep it. Flip is great. Then he meets Halley and the become best friends.
But tragedy isn't far away and soon Ben is living with relatives and one is abusive. And Halley... well, Halley has cancer.
Really liked this book - I can see it appealing to young teenage girls in particular. And shout out to Paul Griffin for narrating the audio book.
