Rising Above

This book highlighted 11 athletes who struggled and overcame.  Some experienced abuse, educational struggles, poverty, and so on but all found a way to rise above their circumstances and through hard work were able to achieve greatness on and off the playing field or court.

I thought this was well done.  The sections were short enough to hold attention but long enough to give good information.
