Ivy's step father has left, her mom needs to find a job and find a way to take care of the family, and Ivy's best friend is changing. What is a girl to do? Then to top it off Caleb moves in with them while his "parents" go somewhere else. Ivy tries to keep everything together and makes sure she knows what is going on by listening in the shadows but sometimes you miss important details and sometimes you figure out what is really important.
I enjoyed this story more than I thought I would...and the ending was very good.
