Benji and his father love to tinker and invent. They even built their own satellite and sent it into space. When Benji gets an assignment to create an app he creates Excuse Me. This app helps people find excuses for their behavior and tracks the probability that it will be accepted and also tracks usage. The app goes viral and soon Benji is a zillionaire. Some people question how ethical the app is and so Benji decides to use his wealth for the good of humanity. During part one of the book he helps to capture an escaped dinosaur and helps a local food pantry at the same time. In part two he rescues the planet from an asteroid and helps a struggling town.
Highly improbable and it's not going to win major awards for writing but who cares? It was funny and accessible for reluctant readers. I thought it was great!
