I read No Crystal Stair a few years ago which was the story Lewis Michaux Sr. and his bookstore. This is a picture book about eh same man and the store. For my particular students this is much more appropriate and is a nice look at the power of reading. Includes good quotes from Lewis Michaux Sr.
