Arthur is always running away. Life is hard and his stepfather and stepbrothers are unkind. When he receives a letter from relatives in Wales he decides to try and find them. But along the way he meets a polar bear. This bear is intended to be a gift for the king of England and Arthur seems to be the only one who can calm the bear down. The two develop a great relationship that results in them rescuing each other.
