Gabe just wants to stay with his new friends Kaz, Brett, and Lilly but his uncle is moving them again. In attempt to bond the 4 complete a strange ritual that Brett found in Gabe's uncle's office. But the ritual has strange consequences. All of a sudden they each have "powers" and Gabe's uncle is kidnapped. Unbeknownst to them their ritual "called" to a cult that has been trying to bridge the world with a shadowy magick world called Arcadia. In addition, a boy from that place has been manipulating Brett. Can these 4 friends learn to control their elements, save Uncle Steve, and maybe save the world.
So, this is the first in a series and as such it does not resolve everything. For the most part I liked it but it was a bit too "occult" for my taste.
