Part Hatchet, part Survivor...in this survival story the members of the Junior Action News Team crash land in the Alaskan wilderness. Not everyone survives the crash. Then the survivors must figure out how to make a shelter, how to find food, and whether to stay at the crash site or venture out to find help.
The book was fast paced and I enjoyed it as I was reading it but upon reflection it felt choppy and because of the number of characters and going back and forth between the experiences of the ones who stayed and the ones who left it felt disjointed. And what happened to Seldon??
Anyway...kids will probably like the fast paced adventure but as a MSBA committee member I don't think I can recommend it for our list.
