This is the cover I saw when I requested the book from NetGalley.
Dorrie has always wanted adventure and loves the thought of learning how to wield a sword. Her wish comes true when she, her brother Marcus, and their mongoose Moe find themselves in the Petrarch Library where a secret society of ninja libraries help protect and preserve history. But how did Dorrie and Marcus end up there and what else is going on?
This mystery was a lot of fun. It reminded me in some ways of Inkheart with the ability to "read out" food and animals in this case. Kids who like books about books will enjoy this.
