Awwww...I really liked this book. It is on the nominee list for the 2013-2014 Maine Student Book Award. This tale, told in verse, is about a lost dog, a lonely boy who wants a dog, and a lonely old man who isn't really sure what he wants but he certainly knows when he gets it. It was a quick, sweet read. I have a feeling it will get a lot of attention at school because it is so sweet and because it will be a quick, easy read. It should get a lot of votes.
