Trace

Trace can't forget the accident that took his parents' lives.  They wouldn't have been where they were if he hadn't made them go back for his iPod and he really can't figure out how he made it out of the car and they didn't.  He is starting to adjust to life with his aunt but when he sees a mysterious boy several times he starts to think there may be a connection between what happened in the car and what's happening now.  His school project on the 1860s and the relationship between an orphanage and the public library also starts to show a connection to his pwn family history.  Can Trace find closure in the past and in the present?

This ended up being a pretty cool book but I was left wanting more - more maybe from the historical stand point.
