Charlie has been selected to travel forward in time by Geneva who is a robot (or is she) from the future. He needs to use his mathematical abilities as well as the hum to stop an evil genius from enslaving and controlling the world's population.
I wouldn't have picked this book to read on NetGalley if it hadn't sounded interesting. I wanted to like it, I really did. I like time travel, thwart the bad guy books. This one just didn't work for me. I never really got the whole Hum thing and the "smasher" method of time travel. There were some good parts but it just didn't all come together for me...sorry.
